Brad Hartjes, DDS
My profession gives me the opportunity to help many different people achieve dental health and beauty. For the past 30 years, my continuing goal has been to provide excellent dental care to all of our patients. A large part of that is sharing the vision of “treating people the way you would like to be treated”. There are few things more satisfying and enjoyable for me than painlessly fixing a patient’s problem or creating an aesthetic result that will put a smile on both our faces.
Everyone is different and has their own unique story. It is fun getting to know people and what they are all about. It is even more fun to show a patient who does not like going to the dentist that a visit to our office can actually be enjoyable! I’ve had the opportunity to make a lot of really good friends over the years, and I look forward to building many more friendships in the years to come.
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate Degree – University of Wisconsin-Madison
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – Marquette University Dental School
Truly caring for my patients means not only being kind and gentle but also staying current so I can provide the best care possible. This involves taking many continuing education classes through the Dane County and Chicago Dental Associations. I am also an active member of the Seattle Study Club of Madison which is a group of local dentists and specialists who discuss the latest techniques for treating different dental issues. This guarantees that I always offer the best care possible to my patients.

Outside the Office
I am originally from Little Chute, WI, just southwest of Green Bay. My wife, Susan, and I have lived in Middleton for over 30 years. We have three lovely daughters, Kristin, Michelle, and Jennifer, and two dogs to keep us company at home.
When not at work, I love being outside doing almost anything and really enjoy biking, skiing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and traveling. Like any good Wisconsinite, I also love cheering on the Packers and Badgers!
Living in Middleton for so long and raising my family here has led me to have a deep commitment to the community’s vitality and success. I have been a member of the Middleton Chamber of Commerce and the Middleton Optimist Club for 30 years. I have also volunteered to help those in need locally with the Touched Twice clinics and the statewide Mission of Mercy.
